On the occasion of the new year, the director, Daniel Grande, presented his well?wishes to the institute’s staff. This time of exchange was extended by a convivial moment during the sharing of the king cake, bringing the community together in a warm, festive atmosphere.
"At the dawn of this new year, I would like to convey my best wishes for health, happiness, and success in both your professional and personal projects.
After a 2025 rich in several significant scientific milestones for the I.C.S., I have no doubt that we will experience many more major events in 2026, thanks to the commitment of each and every one of us and the strength of our collective, which allows us to visibly advance the frontiers of knowledge on soft matter in its diversity and at the interfaces with other disciplines. In an unstable international context where science is sometimes contested or even disparaged, we need more research, education, and training to serve our contemporary society."
